Arizona's computer people since April 1991

Freelance Computer Services started as one man's repair shop in Mesa. It is now a full IT company trusted by households, small businesses and mid-size companies across the East Valley and North Phoenix, and it still runs on the same idea: honest, expert help from people who actually care whether your problem gets solved.

It started on mainframes

Rick Hill's career began in 1978, building and working on mainframe systems. When personal computers arrived in the 1980s, he followed the technology across new platforms and operating systems, picking up the kind of hands-on knowledge that only comes from fixing things for a living.

In April 1991, with thirteen years of experience behind him, Rick opened Freelance Computer Services in Mesa. The mission was simple: honest, expert IT support with genuine care for every client. That one-person shop has grown into a company that handles everything from a single laptop to a whole office network, but the principle Rick started with is still the one the company works by.

Put the customer first, always. Solve the problem. Do it with integrity and pride. Rick Hill, founder

What we hold ourselves to

Six principles that decide how every job gets done, whether it is a cracked laptop screen or a company's whole network.

  • Customer first, always

Every client gets heard and understood. We treat your technology problem as if it were our own, and you are never a ticket number.

  • Integrity in everything

Straight assessments, fair prices and honest recommendations, even when the honest answer means less revenue for us.

  • Expertise that lasts

Decades of hands-on experience mean we fix the cause, not just the symptom, so the solution holds.

  • Community commitment

We are proud to serve Arizona, and we give back with discounts for seniors and veterans.

  • Keep learning

Technology moves fast, so we do too. We stay current with new tools while keeping the reliability you count on.

  • Results that matter

We measure success by whether your problem is solved and your trust is earned, not by how many tickets we close.
